First of all... THANK YOU so much for checking out my web page! I appreciate it. Here is a little background and history about me... I grew up in Show Low, Arizona, a small town in the big elk country of Arizona’s White Mountains. Ever since I was a little kid, Art is how I’ve connected with the world and communicated my love of nature.
First of all... THANK YOU so much for checking out my web page! I appreciate it. Here is a little background and history about me... I grew up in Show Low, Arizona, a small town in the big elk country of Arizona’s White Mountains. Ever since I was a little kid, Art is how I’ve connected with the world and communicated my love of nature. I don’t think I ever turned in a homework assignment while I was in school that didn’t have a bull elk or some kind of fish drawn in the margins. I am a total daydreamer, and those daydreams poured out of me in the form of sketches and doodles. I have also been a huge fan of art. As a kid, I would pour over old issues of Southwest Art magazine. If I’m not creating it myself, I’m enjoying what other artists are doing. I have always had my favorite artists that I follow and who inspire me. I went to college at Western New Mexico University, and earned my Bachelors Degree in Fine Art. I am interested and dabble in all art mediums. I own a Bronze Foundry, and do all my own lost wax castings of the sculptures I create. I love color, and I love to paint. basically, anytime I am creating, I’m most happy. I feel like that’s what I was put on this planet to do. I have lived in Alaska for almost 10 years. its epic wildness and untamed beauty have inspired me and have infused my creativity with rocket fuel amounts of motivation, inspiration and information. my goal is to portray that in my art. I hope you feel a little bit of my soul, when you see my work.
